Browser extension compatibility

Some browser extensions aren't compatible with Brick's editor. If you are having trouble with Brick, please check that you don't have one of those extensions enabled.

Spellcheckers

✅ Compatible: Grammarly.

⛔️ Incompatible:

• Ginger (Chrome) — works for a while but eventually puts the editor into read-only mode.

AI writing tools

⛔️ Incompatible:

• Scalenut (Chrome), checked on 2022-06-07 — at least the "rephrase text" feature breaks the editor.

⛔️ Incompatible: ContentBot (Chrome), checked on 2022-15-08 - the chrome extension seems to work, but then Brick randomly deletes some of the generated lines/passages
